B - 6

C - 1

D - 4

Answer : D

Explanation

Let the number of male employees be x. Then, (3/4) x = 51 or x = 51 × (4/3) = 68.If total number of students is y, then (2/3) y = 68 or y = 68 × (3/2) = 72.Therefore Number of females in the MNC = (72 - 68) = 4.

Q 3 - Anurag is three times as old as Baibhav. Cindy was twice-as old as Anurag four years ago. In four years' time, Anurag will be 31. What is the present age of Baibhav?

Options :

A - 3

B - 6

C - 5

D - 9

Answer : D

Explanation

As from the question we have,

Anurag = 3Baibhav --- (i)

Cindy - 4 = 2(Anurag+4) ---(ii)

Also, Anurag + 4 = 31

or Anurag = 31-4 = 27

Putting Anurag = 27 in (i) we get

Baibhav = 9 years.

B - 36

C - 17

D - 30

Answer : D

Explanation

Let path crossed after x minutes

11x + 57x = 51-63x

x = 1/3

Floor covered by Sabita in 1/3 min = 1/3 × 57=19
